Grove Arts Fest hits streets in February

It’s almost a rite of passage, a tradition, a must as we like to say, to attend the annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival, held over three days on Presidents Day Weekend. It’s scheduled for Feb. 18-20, 2012.
The once bohemian neighborhood still maintains a bit of the hippie vibe and the artists that attend the festival always evoke that feeling. It’s easy to make a day of it at the festival. With more than 360 artists scheduled at this year’s event, there will be a tremendous variety of pieces available.

Key Biscayne is nature’s paradise

Head into Key Biscayne, make your way across the Rickenbacker Causeway Bridge and the views are spectacular and then what awaits beyond the beaches, the Miami Seaquarium, the Tennis Center and Virginia Key is a paradise, an oasis of luxury condominiums and lovely Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park with it’s beaming lighthouse.
